The Queen's University of Belfast Motor Club exists to promote low cost motorsport for its student, graduate and associate membership, whether they be car owners or not.  The club meets on Tuesday evenings during the academic year and had a membership of over 100 in 2009.  During the year the club runs a very successful Rally School to train navigators in the skills required to participate in navigation rallying, taught in both the classroom and in events on the road.  The calendar also contains a social aspect including trips to motorsport events throughout Ireland and Great Britain.  The club ran a very successful "Summer Lanes Rally" with special tests and hopes to follow this up again in 2010.   It is the club's objective to consolidate its position at the forefront of entry level motorsport by consistently improving the quality of its events and the opportunities available to its membership.
