TSCC

Thoroughbred Sports Car Club

http://www.tsccni.co.uk

Formed in 1982, the TSCC has a membership in excess of 200 and is now one of the larger Clubs in the province and we are custodians of the ‘Oldest Hillclimb' - Cultra, which was first run in May 1905 and revived by us in April 2000. Negotiations and work are well advanced to revive "Cultra", for a second time, in 2010. The Club Championship will remain with its usual successful format of Autotests with Hillclimbs, Sprints and Races from selected events in the ANICC Calendar, also to count.

Despite being named the Thoroughbred Sports Car Club our Championship class structure now accommodates ALL types of car, be they sports, saloon, kit or replica from vintage to modern and we welcome junior Autotesters of course. By far the most successful venture in the recent past has been our Track days at Kirkistown, of which there will be four in 2010 and arising from this we have created a Beginners Championship to encourage members to move up to Autotesting and on to MSA Licenced Speed events. We will be offering eligible members "A REBATE" towards the cost of their first MSA Licence, provided they obtain it and contest the nominated events. The Social Committee plan to tag a couple of BBQ's on to the Track Days and if they have the energy left will organise a Kart Night or other activity.

Our AGM is in October followed by our annual Dinner Dance "Bun-Fight and Crystal/Silver Giveaway" later in the winter break. Members get regular information on all the activities and more through the monthly bulletins/newsletters and the website.
