The MDA started in 1977 promoting low cost Rallycross based originally on the classic Mini. The club now also includes in its car classes the BMW Mini and Ford Ka for both Junior and Senior competitors. To further promote our sport of Rallycross we can now offer three different cars on a Hire and Drive basis.

As an MSA affiliated club the MDA working closely with PSM Motorsport Ltd produces both championship and technical regulations for the new Northern Ireland Rallycross Championship.

For 2010  the MDA will again be working actively with PSM Motorsport Ltd to promote a well balanced, entertaining and cost effective Rallycross championship for competitors, circuit owners, sponsors and spectators.

Registration for the Championship is open to all drivers who have a car complying with the 2010 regulations.
