Motorsport Marshalling Partnership

The MMP has the objective of attracting an increased number of trained marshals into motorsport through a partnership between clubs and their marshals.

This would be done by:

<br />1. Creating a working group within which motor clubs will work together to achieve the common goal and provide a marshals incentive scheme.<br />2. Rewarding marshals in recognition of the important role they fulfill in motor sport.<br />3. Providing a worthwhile incentive to marshals who help on an increasing number of events throughout the season.<br />4. Encouraging marshals to attend training to maximize their effectiveness in the safe running of events.<br />During 2012 Marshals will be allocated points for helping at events and the points earn rewards and incentives, as follows:<br />1. There will be a draw for 12 people to go to Knockhill, from all marshals who have earned 15 points or more.<br />2. 12 Marshals who have earned 12 points or more (excluding Knockhill prizewinners), will be drawn for a trip to a rally School.<br />3. Marshals, who earned 10 or more points, will receive a MMP fleece/Team Shirt or rucksack.<br />4. Marshals who have earned 7 points or more , will receive a polo shirt, T-shirt or First Aid Kit <br />5. Marshals who have earned 3 points or more, will receive a cap or gloves.<br />6. All marshals who have earned 1 or more will be invited to join us for a reward day on 1st Dec<br />NB To qualify for any of the rewards above marshals must have attended at least one MMP training event throughout the year & only one reward per marshal.
