Rewards for 2006
All marshals who attend more than 12 events (plus 1 training) will be entered in a draw for one of three places to a WRC event.
Marshal on 7 events (plus 1 training) and get an exclusive team shirt.
Marshal on 5 events (plus 1 training) and get a free polo shirt.
Look out for the subsidised event available to all marshals who have attended at least one event (eg karting, Formula Ford, Off Road etc)
Recruitment Day 2006
The recruitment day was held on Sunday the 22 Jan 2006 at Superdrive, Portadown. There was a large turnout of new and experienced marshals and on the day we got 115 returned registration cards. The day started off with the usual signing on duties where everyone was given tickets for a ride in a rallycar and a session on the karts. The karts seemed to be very enjoyable given the smiles and cheers that were being produced due to some wild driving manoeuvres. Everyone also got a chance to get strapped into a rallycar for a blast around the rally stage in a Mk11 escort.
Eugene Donnelly, current Pirelli Irish Tarmac Rally Champion was in attendance all day and finished off the day with a quick chat show where he answered the questions put to him. Finally I would like to thank John O`Neill of Sperrins Photography for taking some pictures on the day.
